Yesterday was National Compliment Day. How many of you knew that? Not many I'm guessing because, I, myself had no clue until my Humantities teacher, Mrs. Love, informed my class. I tried my best throughout the day to give compliments to those I normally didn't talk to. It didn't work out so well.
Compliments shouldn't have to have a holiday to be given, or received humbly. Everyone deserves a compliment every once in awhile, right?
I'm not the type of girl that goes out of my way to look pretty and receive millions of compliments a day. So when I receive one I like to tell people thank you, even if I didn't actually hear them say it.
The art teacher, Mrs. Cook, told me yesterday that Coach Servis was telling another teacher about how well I taped. It honestly made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and I went and thanked him. He gave me a big hug and said, "Well it's true."
Thosetype of compliments make me feel so much better about myself than any kind of compliment based on my physical appearance could. Isn't that how it's supposed to be? Tell me your opinion.
Don't be shy, I don't bite... Hard. I'm kidding! But seriously. What has been your favorite compliment that you have ever received?
