Out with Wrestling, in with Soccer!

Okay, first post time!

I'm Andrea, seventeen years of age.
A junior in high school.
I'm a student athletic trainer.
This is how it goes from day to day(when I remember to post) with the different sports that I work.

I'm starting with the soccer players tomorrow, and farther into the spring I will be continuing my football career. I've been working with football players since 8th grade(that's 4 years under my belt now).

My athletes mean everything to me and most of them are boys. Soccer is actually going to be the first sport where I have worked with girls. I just don't seem to get along very well with girls. I don't know why, just don't.

In the past four years I have managed: Football, basketball, wrestling, and now soccer.

Basketball was a one year thing my 8th grade year, and I didn't make the cut when I applied freshmen year. It didn't bother me, I didn't like it too much.

Wrestling season isn't over yet this year, and this was my first(and last) year. I actually quit just yesterday. Most athletic trainers in high school are girls. The other two girls just got on my nerves and I couldn't take it anymore. To avoid conflict, I just quit. Football is my main sport and I will stick with that through thick and thin. I already miss my wrestling boys though.

Just to set things straight, I don't usually start anything that I think I might quit. I quit wrestling for other reasons then just the girls. I wasn't getting home until 7pm on a good night and on nights when I had concurrent college classes, not until 10pm and I was still keeping my 4.0gpa!

I'm a busy girl, what can I say?

Something needed to be done to clear up my schedule and the only thing that was able to be dropped was wrestling. Which freed up my schedule a ton. No regrets here at all.

I'm ready to start soccer and see how it all pans out.

For now, I'm signing off... As time goes on I'll add more posts and include some stories and pictures from years past that I remember and love.

For now,

Andrea.
