Those words come to mind whenever I think about the cold. My letterman jacket (which only sports a Lamp of Knowledge and football MGR insignia) is currently th warmest coat I own. No one warned me that soccer season consisted very, and I mean VERY little time in the warm weather. Most of the time I'll be freezing my buns off and it will not be pleasing to any degree.
The majority of soccer practice has been held indoors the past couple weeks and last Tuesday we even had, what I like to call, a "snow day". School didn't actually close but our parents were told that school was "not mandatory". Last I heard, the estimate of students that went to school that day was around 50. My school isn't very large with only about 600 making up the student body, but we all banded together to basically "cancel" school! Yay student cooperation!
I haven't been doing much that is noteworthy of telling those who actually take time to read my blog (if any actually does). To those located in warmer climates, I envy you, to those facing the frigid cold as I am, I wish you warmth.
On a parting note I ask you this, how did you feel about the outcome of the Superbowl? I, myself, had no preference to who won, but my boyfriend is an avid Steelers fan so I had to deal with his devastation and I can't say that I wasn't a little upset myself to how close of game it was. Discuss your thoughts on the game in the comments. It will be interesting to read and I'll put my input in along with yours.
